Here is a daily planner that I have refined over a couple of years. The more Charlotte Mason I became, the more this planner has helped me. Furthermore, I find this very helpful to keep record of work done and amount of days spend on school. It really is a win win! This Planner is only for the month of February, and you can print it out in which ever way will work best for you! If you would like a more customizable on, you can find a fully editable one here!
The Pdf consist of 5 pages, which you can print for either a 5-day week or a 4 day week! Have fun!
I will briefly explain who I plan my days, and how I use my planner:
We do Bible, hymn and memorization every day – I write in those boxes what books I plan to use that day.
We have a morning time loop that include the following themes:
- Hero studies (This appears twice on my loop as we are working through two different books.)
- Artist study
- Composer Study
- Greek Myths
- Nature Reader
- Aesop’s Fables
I have a loop worked out to ensure that we work through all these themes. Every day we visit 2 of these themes so I write those two in the morning time box.
Our Family Subjects are
- History (twice on loop, as we do South Africa and World)
- Science (Twice as we do Biology and Science)
- Year of playing skillfully
- Book of Century
Depending on the load for that day we do one or two of these subjects each day. Once again, we move along on the loop and write these subjects in the Family Subject box.
Maths and Language, I do separately with each child, and they have their own planners for that.
